Finding Trading Partner Access to Your Catalogue

To find a trading partner’s current access rights to your catalogue

Click Administration > Trading Partner Access. The Trading Partner List page opens.

The table displays from left:
*
Trading Partner Name—The trading partner’s name.
*
Account Number—The trading partner’s account number.
*
Subscription Date—The date the trading partner subscribed to OpenText Active Catalogue.
*
Last Access Date—The date the trading partner last accessed your catalogue.
*
Access Type—The access type currently selected for the trading partner:
*
Restricted—Trading partner has no access to your catalogue.
*
Selection Code—Trading partner’s access is restricted to specific Selection Codes.
*
Unrestricted—Trading partner has full access to your catalogue.

Find a trading partner in the list:

Click Filter to filter the list. See“Filtering the Trading Partner List� .
*
Scroll through the list.
*
Use the browse bar to move between pages.

Steps 4-7 are optional for drilling down to the Selection Code and Product levels.

If a trading partner’s access is restricted to specific Selection Codes, you can view the access status for each Selection Code by clicking the Selection Code List hyperlink in the Access Type column.

Note: If you have not yet defined trading partner access to the Selection Codes, a warning icon displays to remind you to define the access; by default, Selection Code access is Restricted.

The Trading Partner Access - Selection Codes page opens.

The access type currently selected for the Selection Code is shown in the Access Type column:

Restricted—The trading partner has no access to this Selection Code.
*
Product—The trading partner’s access is restricted to specific Products under this Selection Code.
*
Unrestricted—The trading partner has full access to this Selection Code.

Step 5 is optional. To find a Selection Code in the list:

Click Filter to filter the list. See “Filtering the Trading Partner Access - Selection Codes List� .
*
Scroll through the list.
*
Use the browse bar to move between pages.

Step 6 is optional for drilling down to the Product level.

If a trading partner has Product access, you can view the access status for each Product by clicking the Product List hyperlink in the Access Type column.

Note: If you have not yet defined trading partner access to the Products, a warning icon displays to remind you to define the access; by default, Product access is Restricted.

The access type currently selected for the Product is shown in the Access Type column:
