EDI Qualifier Location/Value pair - If you want the EDI Location field to accommodate multiple values depending on a qualifier, you can specify an EDI qualifier location/value pair. The EDI Qual. Loc. field holds the EDI location of the EDI qualifier value (EDI Qual. Value field) which determines the custom field value to associate with the Product for a specific vendor/retailer relationship. For example, you create two custom field definitions (CustomFieldOne and CustomFieldTwo), both with an EDI Location of N102 and an EDI Qual. Loc. of N101.
CustomFieldOne has an EDI Qual. Value of CD and CustomFieldTwo has an EDI Qual. Value of EF.
If N101=CD, then N102 is the custom field value for CustomFieldOne.
If N101=EF, then N102 is the custom field value for CustomFieldTwo.For additional examples, see “Custom Field Definition Examples .
