Deleting a Custom Field Definition

When you delete a custom field definition, all custom field values associated with that custom field definition are also deleted. A retailer will not be able to view deleted custom field definitions or deleted custom field values.

To delete a custom field definition

Click Account > Account Details. The Account Setup and Maintenance page opens, displaying the Account Details tab.

Click the Custom Field Definitions tab.

Custom field information displays for existing custom fields.

Click Delete. A message asks if you want to proceed with deletion of the custom field definition.

To delete the custom field definition, click OK. A message confirms the deletion or reports an error.

Note: When you delete a custom field definition, all custom field values associated with that custom field definition are also deleted. A retailer will not be able to view deleted custom field definitions or deleted custom field values.
