Understanding Attribute Filter Compliance Report

The Compliance Report is comprised of 3 parts:

Header—Information about the accounts and attribute filter

Body—Compliance information

Footer—Attribute filter details at the time the report is run

Header

The report header lists information such as the requesting and target accounts and the attribute filter used. The header information follows the tag #ReportOptions.

For example:

Header details include the following information:

requesting user

requesting account

target account

selection code filter

product name filter

item update date filter

exclude discontinued items

date format

maximum attributes to report

account attribute filter name

attribute filter account nbr

attribute filter account name

Body

The body of the report lists the compliance information.

For example:

Body details include the following information:

Hierarchy information identifies the attribute that is unpopulated and has therefore, failed the compliance check (Selection Code, Product, GTIN, GTIN type, last update date)

Unpopulated attributes lists the specific attributes that are missing for the GTIN based on the selected attribute filter.

Note: If the number of attributes was limited in the report options, and there were more unpopulated attributes compared to that limit, the message ‘Additional attributes are non-compliant’ appears. Limiting the number of attributes reported allows you to focus on small sets of attributes at a time. Another approach is to create a smaller attribute filter.

Footer

Footer details include the attribute filter details at the time the is report run. This information is included to eliminate confusion if the filter definition changes and the report is run again.

For example:

The footer is grouped into two sections:

#Attribute filter details—Shows the selected attribute filter name

#Attribute Group—Shows each attribute group within the selected filter, followed by the attributes within that group at the time the report is run. This section repeats for each attribute group in the filter.
