Completing a One-Time Batch File Download

To complete a one-time batch file download

From the Download Basket page, (see “Viewing the Download Basket” ), in the column to the left of the Trading Partner, select the check boxes of the records you want to download (click again to deselect).

Click Download.

Note: All of the selected records in the download basket will be downloaded.

The Complete Data Download page opens.

From the Attribute Filter drop-down list, select a filter to restrict the export of GTIN attributes

Select Batch File as your download method. Catalogue will send data to your electronic mailbox. The data is exported in EDI format.

Note: This option is only available if “EDI Support: Outbound from Catalogue” is enabled for your account. To contact technical support for assistance, see “Contacting Technical Support” .

Select one or more Information Types to indicate the type of data to download for the selected records. For records at the Selection Code or Product level, you can specify Product and/or GTIN Information Types. For records at the GTIN level, you can specify GTIN Information Types.

Products—Product attributes (and Selection Code Description above each Product).

Product Media—Product image attributes including:

Product image attributes for any “generic” Product image (that is, the Product image has no color code associated with it)

Product image attributes plus the color code associated with that Product image

Note: Only Product image attributes are downloaded using the Download Basket. To download Product physical images, see “Downloading Product Images” .

GTINs—GTIN attributes (and the Product and Selection Code Descriptions above each GTIN).

GTIN Media—GTIN image attributes (and the Product image attributes for the Product images that are above each GTIN and meet the following criteria):

Product image attributes for any “generic” Product image (that is, the Product image has no color code associated with it)

Product image attributes plus the color code associated with that Product image, for those Product images whose color code is the same as the color code of the GTIN.

Note: Only GTIN image attributes are downloaded using the Download Basket. To download GTIN physical images, see “Downloading GTIN Images” .

Select when to download from Catalogue:

Immediate

Overnight

Note: The system limits Immediate downloads to one million items or less. If downloads are greater than one million, the system forces the Overnight option to go into effect. Overnight downloads of more than 5 million items must be broken into multiple downloads.

The total number of Products and GTINs (items) that you have requested for download is displayed. This number may be greater than the actual number of Products and GTINs that are downloaded since only those Products and GTINs that you have access to are downloaded.

To confirm that you understand that you will be billed for downloading this data, select the check box, “I understand that Data Download is a billable action.”

Click Finish to complete the download.
