EDI Validation Errors

If you sent an EDI document and received a negative FA message, your document was not compliant with EDI standards. You must fix all EDI standards validation errors before Catalogue can process the file. This type of error does not appear in EP. It appears on the EDI Management Console (EMC) List page. See Section 13 "Working with EDI Data," for information on using this page to identify errors.

Note: Control numbers must be unique. If a duplicate control number is found, the entire EDI document will be ignored. The corrected document must be sent with a new control number.
