Product data in a vendor catalogue is organized in a three-level structure:
![]()
Selection Codes—3-digit identifiers for the broadest product groups in a catalogue, (for example, 300 is men's clothing); also used to restrict retailer access when retailer does not have unrestricted access to a catalogue
![]()
Products—Specific Products under a Selection Code (for example, Vendor Item No., Style No.)
![]()
GTINs—Specific items under a Product (for example, 123456123456, a 36-inch, leather belt)Vendors create and maintain their own Selection Codes, Products, and GTINs.
Both vendors and retailers can view an Item Search Ratio Report (see “Item Search Ratio Report ) which shows the ratio of found versus missed GTINs. The report is based on accounts for which there is data (with a maximum of 12 months of data).
