About This Guide

This guide explains how to view, maintain, and download catalogue data using the browser interface to the hosted application. Similar information is provided in the application’s online help.

The guide is organized as follows:

*
Section 1 "Overview," describes the basic functions and navigation for OpenText Active Catalogue.
*
Section 2 "Working with User Profiles," explains how an administrator (super user) can add and maintain users for their Catalogue account. It also describes how an administrator can reset passwords, view permissions for defined roles, and view users assigned to a role.
*
Section 3 "Working With Access Rights," explains how to set up and maintain security for OpenText Active Catalogue. Access rights are set up and maintained for accounts and users.
*

*
