Use this procedure to add a user.
To add a user
1 Click Account > User Profiles.The User Profiles - User List page opens displaying a list of all users for the account.
2 Click New User.The User Profile Setup and Maintenance page opens.
Note: In the past, guidelines dictated that the letter C be used for the batch password (created by the OpenText super admin). In those cases where you want to continue with these guidelines, skip to the letter D for the third interactive user ID, E for the fourth interactive user ID, and so forth. Required. Interactive is selected by default. Super users cannot create a batch user. Required. Type the user’s email address. This is important. If the user forgets their password and clicks the Reset Password link on the Catalogue Login page, or if the super user admin resets the user’s password, the new temporary password is sent to this email address. Required. Select a role which determines the user’s edit and view permissions for various functional modules in their catalogue. Some of the most common roles are:

Active - You want the user to be active.

Inactive - You do not want the user to be active.

5 Click Save. A message indicates if the information has been saved successfully.
