Finding and Viewing Data : Finding Products Across Selection Codes

Finding Products Across Selection Codes

Use this procedure to retrieve Products.

To find Products across Selection Codes

1
Click Catalogue > Advanced Search. The Find Catalogue Data page opens.

2
Select Product.
3
*
Identifier - The Product identifier. Use Identifier with EQUAL MULTI in Step 4 to search for up to 10 products at once.
*
Description - The description of the Product
*
Compressed - The compressed Product identifier (leading zeros, spaces, and special characters are ignored)

If you perform a Compressed Product search, the system retrieves all Products with compressed product values that exactly match the value you type in the Product field. Compressed Product identifiers omit leading zeroes, spaces, and special characters in Product identifiers for purposes of the Product search.

For example, the Compressed Product identifier for 000324 MENS SHOES is 324MENSSHOES. Sending 324MENSSHOES in a Compressed Product search returns all Products with that sequence of characters, ignoring leading zeroes, spaces, and special characters in the actual Product identifiers.
