Finding GTINs Under One Product

Use this procedure to retrieve GTINs under a specific Product if you already know the Product.

To find GTINs under a specific Product

Click Catalogue > Advanced Search. The Find Catalogue Data page opens.

Select Product.

Select one of the following Product search options:

Identifier—The Product identifier
*
Description—The description of the Product
*
Compressed—The compressed Product identifier (leading zeros, spaces, and special characters are ignored)

If you perform a Compressed Product search, the system retrieves all Products with compressed product values that exactly match the value you type in the Product field. Compressed Product identifiers omit leading zeroes, spaces, and special characters in Product identifiers for purposes of the Product search.

For example, the Compressed Product identifier for 000324 MENS SHOES is 324MENSSHOES. Sending 324MENSSHOES in a Compressed Product search returns all Products with that sequence of characters, ignoring leading zeroes, spaces, and special characters in the actual Product identifiers.

Select EQUAL from the Product drop-down list (EQUAL is automatically selected and is the only option for Description and Compressed), and type the full Product identifier, description, or compressed Product identifier in the field.

Click Search. The GTIN List page opens.

The table displays from left the following for each GTIN:

Check box to select the GTIN for download
*
Component—The number of components for a GTIN (to view the GTIN components, click the hyperlink)
*
Container—The number of containers for a GTIN (to view the GTIN containers, click the hyperlink)
*
GTIN—The GTIN identifier (to view GTIN details, click the GTIN hyperlink)
*
GTIN Type—The type of GTIN. See “GTIN Number Structures� .
*
Pack—The container code or component indicator. See “Container and Component GTIN Codes� .
*
Color—Color code for the GTIN
*
Color Description—Color description for the GTIN
*
Size—Size code for the GTIN
*
Size Description—Size description for the GTIN
*
Published Cost—The unit cost of the GTIN
*
Suggested Retail— The suggested retail price of the GTIN
*
Create Date—The date the GTIN was loaded to OpenText Active Catalogue
*
Last Update Date—The date the GTIN was last updated
*
Discontinue Date—The date the GTIN will be discontinued in OpenText Active Catalogue
*
Images—The number of images associated with the GTIN (click the hyperlink to display the list of images)

To locate a GTIN in the list, do any of the following:

Filter the GTIN list. See “Filtering a GTIN List� .
*
Scroll down the list.
*
Use the browse bar to move between pages.

To view GTIN information, do any of the following:

To view GTIN details, click the GTIN hyperlink in the GTIN column.
*
To view GTIN components for a GTIN click the hyperlink in the Components column
*
To view GTIN containers for a GTIN, click the hyperlink in the Containers column.
*
To view all of the GTINS that are under the same Product as this GTIN, click the Product link in the header (to view Product details, click the details link).
*
To view all of the Products that are under the same Selection Code as this GTIN, click the Selection Code link in the header (to view Selection Code details, click the details link).
