To add a GTIN by copying and modifying an existing GTIN

3 Optional. To change the attribute filter (which determines the attributes that display on the page), select an attribute filter from the Change Attribute Filter drop-down list (under the heading information)
4 Enter the new GTIN and GTIN Type (use all caps). To automatically calculate a check digit for the GTIN, go to the following URL:http://www.gs1us.org/solutions_services/tools/check_digit_calculator

To jump to a specific attribute group, select an attribute group from the Jump To Group drop-down list.
6 Optional. To make the GTIN a container, use the Prepack/Container Code field. See the following:
7 Optional for OpenText Active Catalogue vendors. Change the Product and Product Desc (Product description). Optionally, you can also change the Product Extended Desc (Product extended description) field to do either of the following:

Enter the Product and Product Desc (Product description) of a different, existing Product to place the new GTIN under.Note: Product Desc (Product description) must contain a value, but it will be ignored for Products that already exist.See “Working with Attributes� .

To save the new GTIN and add another GTIN that is not based on an existing GTIN (copied), click Add.
