This section explains how to work with data attributes when maintaining your catalogue.
Attributes are details (for example, Color, Unit Cost) of the associated record (for example, GTIN). The hundreds of GTIN attributes supported by OpenText Active Catalogue are organized in Attribute Groups. See “GTIN Attribute Groups� .
Item attributes may fall under an industry standard. See “GTIN Attribute Rules� .
The only data attributes in OpenText Active Catalogue not used exclusively with GTINs are:
Note: To confirm that the attribute value you just added or updated actually loaded to your catalogue, click the browser Refresh on the open Add or Edit page. If the data loaded, it will appear on the page. If it did not load, try to load it again using an Edit page, not an Add page.
