GTIN Attribute Conventions

OpenText Active Catalogue employs the following conventions in its handling of GTIN attributes:

To restrict the display and export of GTIN attributes, apply an attribute filter. See “Working with Attribute Filters� .

Press Tab to jump to the next attribute in a list.

The required number structures for GTIN types supported by OpenText Active Catalogue are described in “GTIN Number Structures� .

If a GTIN Description does not exist, the Color Code, Color Description, Size Code, and Size Description are combined to serve as a GTIN description and appear in brackets ([ ]).

When saving a GTIN, if an attribute error exists, a message describing the error displays. Fix the error and save again.

To view the format requirements and definition of the attribute, move your cursor over the attribute name.
